Job Overview

The Director of Engagement and Experience will be responsible for the overall Teammate Engagement strategy. Including, developing and deploying strategic plans to drive a Servant Leadership culture that empowers the ability to deliver on the Operating Destination and Company Purpose. This role will be responsible for organizational survey strategy including the measurement and improvement of engagement through Organizational Development plan design and implementation. The Director will provide effective internal teammate communications regarding teammate experience, culture, and HR programs. The Director will implement a structured change management planning process for all applicable people-related projects, ensuring sound methodology and design thinking. This role will effectively lead Organizational Development strategies to consult and facilitate effective team leadership through leader and team coaching. The Director will own the strategy and execution of the company-wide teammate onboarding program ensuring that our program delivers successful learning solutions and assimilates our new teammates into the culture quickly. This role will work cross-functionally and partner with teams and business leaders across multiple business areas.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engagement and Experience Coaches and consults all leadership levels in effective engagement strategies that result in team accomplishment of business goals. Develops and nurtures a teammate experience that translates to a high-quality working relationship and serves as the foundation for positive relations within the organization
  • Strategy and Execution Own execution and company-wide action planning for Coke Consolidated’s employee engagement survey. Owns strategy and execution of company-wide onboarding program and ensuring that our program is excellent and assimilates our new teammates into the culture quickly.
  • Team Leadership Manages, directly and indirectly, a team of professionals, that build, deploy, educate, and communicate results from the annual engagement survey. Manages action planning activity to follow the survey process
  • Directs, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
  • Fiscal Management and Data Insights Apply a data-driven approach to measuring the effectiveness of programs and continuously iterate to improve results Defines metrics for successful evaluation of programs and offerings and addresses opportunities for ongoing improvement based on feedback, usage/participation rates, and alignment with business needs. Manages budget and annual forecasting, as well as managing the relationship with external consultants and vendor relationships
  • Change Management Advises leadership and develops strategies for leading and managing change. Develops strategies for change communication, resistance, risk mitigation, coaching, training, and accountability to reinforce adoption. Applies change management frameworks to assess readiness for change, align partners, create change champions and increase adoption of new programs and processes
  • Communication Consults with cross-functional leaders to design and deploy effective teammate communication regarding teammate experience, culture, and HR programs Markets internal offerings and establish a regular communication cadence to help teammates make the most of learning opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
  • Employee Engagement experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Leadership, or related field
