Job Overview

The HRIS Master Data Manager serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the execution of end-to-end organization and employee data-related processes in any of the HRIS system verticals. The HRIS Master Data Manager will be the primary point of contact for all data-related queries from leaders and have a leading role in driving the importance of data quality and system integrity. This role will lead the team that is responsible for processing all required data entry and validation. This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees and collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing processes and solutions; recommends and implements solutions. This is done to ensure adherence to established service levels and to maintain a high level of integrity with employee master data as well as accurate reporting for both the Bottler and government agencies. In addition, the HRIS Master Data Manager will partner with all internal and external stakeholders to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities within the Master Data maintenance processes, while coordinating multiple project workstreams and ensuring all master data tasks are executed with excellence.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR services users and programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff and serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR projects.
  • Partners with Business teams to standardize and govern the HR Master Data processes across all functions and recommend best practices. Serves as a subject matter expert for HR Master Data-related projects and initiatives. Identifies and analyzes any HR Master Data issues impacting the business to address trends and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for HR business processes mapping, documenting, automation, re-engineering, and governance. Prepares communication and training materials for impacted users as system and process changes are implemented
  • Execute HR Master Data transactions to support: Personal data (tax, direct deposit, name changes) and work tax changes. Creates org structure alignment including new organizational structure elements, positions, and jobs. Resolves data-related payroll issues for associates timely and accurately
  • Ensures proper chart of authority on positions for accurate wage change, T and E expense, electronic invoicing, and procurement workflow and approval limits. Proper employee classification and schedule on positions to ensure appropriate timekeeping rules are applied. Leads team in performing testing of ticket resolution fixes and quarterly releases from SuccessFactors and provides go/no go decisions
  • Manages data accuracy, validity, and completeness and corrects as needed and partners in the development of procedures and SLAs for updating and maintaining master data. Leads the identification of root causes of problems and provides expertise to various groups to resolve and then prevent further errors
  • Liaises and collaborates with CONA services to determine role-based permissions and workflow of master data to other elements of the SuccessFactors system and external vendors
  • Partners closely with the business data requestors to ensure consistency and accuracy of master data. Audits HR Master data to ensure that information flowing from upstream or downstream systems is accurate. Collaborates with IT and HR support to ensure all systems are communicating correctly for data integrity purposes. Supports in training the users on systems and processes, including but not limited to the creation of job aids, training decks, and train-the-trainer session
  • Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership. Learn another HRIS vertical to be able to serve as back-up and other duties as assigned
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications and performs other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • 2 years working with an HR Master Data Team, supporting the data needs of the organization (employee lifecycle data maintenance) using mass data maintenance and management skills and tools to manipulate data and make the data update process more efficient. 
  • Data analysis and manipulation skills.
  • SAP Employee Central experience a significant plus.
  • Ability to select, coach and develop team members.
  • Knowledge of human resources, benefits and payroll processes.
  • Strong process orientation and project management skills. 
  • Big picture mindset, excellent problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, Ability to prioritize work, interpret data, initiate and implement change. Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complex issues, complaints, and interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Experience with HR systems and technology (e.g. SAP Employee Central, Kronos, ECP, etc.)


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years work experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
