Job Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of initiatives that are aligned to a specific line of business/vertical to ensure alignment with the business’ overall roadmap and objectives. This role will assist with defining the program controls, including the processes, procedures, and reporting requirements to manage the program and monitor progress to make sure milestones are being met across the various corresponding projects and programs. The Program Manager manages the risks and issues that may arise over the course of the program life cycle, as well as take measures to correct them when they occur, and coordinates the projects and their interdependencies between the various projects and programs in the program. The role will also serve on individual initiatives that could be managed by a Project Manager or Scrum Master, while on occasion, serve as the Project Manager/Scrum Master.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyzes requested initiatives and plans and schedules the work and subsequent projects and deliverables according to alignment with overall business strategy and roadmap
  • Meets regularly with business partners and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and gain alignment on objectives and roadmap, while communicating relevant deliverables to Program implementation
  • Serves as the primary point of contact and maintains responsibility for status reporting including KPI’s, risks, and issues
  • Works with Community of Service leads/Resource Managers to ensure effective resource allocation across all teams.
  • Ensures Project Managers/Scrum Masters have the needed tools and systems needed to perform their role and achieve successful implementation of Program(s). Ensures their teams follow PMO Governance procedures and adhere to key controls to mitigate risks for CCCI
  • Oversees and executes other strategic initiatives and special assignments as directed by leadership
  • Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and balance competing priorities
  • Strong issue resolution skills and ability to assess needs and manage expections
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with Business Partners


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
  • Knowledge aquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
  • Project Management Professional PMP certification


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
  • Information Technology, Business or related field
