Job Overview

The Bid Administrator is responsible for management of all small and larger bid flows sent to external carriers and leading the marketing efforts for the selected carriers, ensuring all critical carrier information from contracts to insurance documentation has been submitted in a timely and complete manner. This position is critical to the continued growth of the Brokerage side of the business and securement of quality external carriers.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages, coordinates and publishes bid calendar activities with Network Engineering team
  • Distributes bid information to potential carriers and brokers in timely and efficient manner.
  • Receives, organizes, reviews, and submits bid responses to Network to process
  • Provides weekly updates to management of bid status
  • Creates and chairs the weekly bid update meetings.
  • Collaborates with Carrier Development manager to determine which carrier to include in bid opportunities.
  • Provides back-up the Carrier Management Group and additional duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Administrative Assistant experience
  • Project Management


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years' experience
