Job Overview

The Manager, RGM Logistics position will work cross-functionally to lead efforts to maximize revenue and gross margin for the logistics divisions at Red Classic.  This position will identify and activate high-potential opportunities based on trends, post-event data, syndicated data, and commercial initiatives, collaborating with the operational and customer teams. The Manager, RGM Logistics will lead logistics strategy design and implementation to optimize revenue and profit performance and remain accountable to deliver the annual Revenue, Rate, and Profit plan for Red Classic logistics while creating customer value; leading, coaching, and developing a team. This position also reviews pricing opportunities and works collaboratively with teams to implement new business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops pricing guidelines on relevant market and industry analytics to drive margin and efficiency in our overall strategy
  • Prepares analysis on logistics division(s) performance and presents results, solutions, and recommendations to Sr. Management by coordinating performance summaries and post-event ROI analytics
  • Collaborates with the Carrier Management and Customer Excellence Teams to drive profitable growth
  • Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
  • Completes and maintains standard management reporting and tools, and lead monthly business reviews with cross-functional partners by providing topline analytics and business insights

  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Data management and data manipulation across Microsoft Office suite (Excel) and in-house systems
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience within the transportation industry preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to 7 years work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Marketing
