Sr. Forecasting Analyst

Things you should know about working as a Sr. Forecasting Analyst:
The COE (Center of Excellence) Forecasting team will drive the development of predictive forecasting models and methods to lead the RGM (Revenue Growth Management) forecasting efforts.

What would success look like?

  • Partners with internal and external resources in developing and maintaining predictive forecasting models incorporating historical trends, seasonality and other factors that drive the performance of our business
  • Analyzes actual performance vs. forecasted performance to drive continuous improvement within the models and processes
  • Establishes and leads effective routines and processes with Customer Planning teams to gather feedback and incorporate subject matter expertise into the forecasts
  • Evaluates & interprets forecasted results to identify gaps or opportunities against category plan and provide key insights and recommendations to Customer Planning teams
  • Develops and presents business reviews leveraging multiple data sources and company resources to tell business story
  • Is proactive in business approach and identifies key critical business opportunities for CCCI through analysis and tracking

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to work weekends, resulting in work week flexibility to maintain 40 hours
  • 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated progression responsibilities preferably with a Consumer Package Goods company
  • Extremely strong analytical skills with ability to draw insights from data; ability to develop statistical and financial models that can accommodate multiple inputs from diverse data sources for scenario planning and modeling
  • Financial Planning and Forecasting experience
  • Demonstrated experiences working under pressure and managing multiple projects at once with flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player who can work in a diverse, fast paced environment that thrives on challenging problems
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of key data systems; planning tools and forecasting systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
