Job Overview

The Sr. Manager, Reliability Engineering is responsible for performing critical tactical guidance, training, and leadership for multiple major production facilities and associated branch locations within the Company; establishing cross-functional best practices and processes that will capture cost savings, support productivity improvement, and sustain consistently. Best in a Class system-based business practices and routines for maintenance and production. The Sr. Manager, Reliability Engineering is responsible for overseeing Reliability Engineers that develop process standardization working closely with Maintenance and Production by continuously seeking insight and knowledge on industry trends and technology that will further improve the company performance; and serving as an immediate source of technical information and training relating to best practices in maintenance and production processes.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages Reliability Engineers that implement and manage Maintenance and Production best practices
  • Prepares and conducts independent, compliance and system-based audits of CCCI for the purposes of verifying conformance and compliance to Maintenance metrics
  • Assists the Dir. Of Reliability Engineering in preparing cross-functional metrics for Maintenance and Production to help drive results for the company through system audits
  • Manages several capital projects relating to improving Reliability measures in multiple production facilities
  • Prepares comprehensive, fact-based, audit reports that are clear and concise, allowing for accurate root cause determination and effective corrective action plans.
  • Utilizes subject matter expertise to participate in the review, development, and enhancement of maintenance standards, policies, and procedures
  • Provides system-based training Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong Excel
  • Access proficiency including v-lookups, merges, macros


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelordegree (4 years)
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in operational Maintenance or Engineering role within the food and beverage industry
  • Must be able to climb stairs and transverse platforms, catwalks as necessary to observe Supply Chain processes in manufacturing and warehouse environments
  • Stamina, perseverance, and patience
  • Highly stressful positions due to the need to implement changes and meet timelines utilizing resources that in most cases are accountable to other areas of the business
  • All this needs to be accomplished in an environment that is filled with unknown variables
  • Must be able to safely perform duties in an industrial environment
  • Black Belt Certification preferred or equivalent business experience
