Sr. Planning Analyst

Things you should know about working as a Sr. Planning Analyst:
Provides thought leadership to Customer Development organization and broader CCCI organization in shaping PRGM (Planning Revenue Growth Management) direction CCCI takes in marketplace.
What would success look like?
- Partners with Customer Development teams to develop annual budget following CCCI defined commercial planning & pricing strategies for assigned channels to deliver CCBBC and retailer DNGP/Margin requirements
- Analyzes historical and forecasted trends and communicates results to internal/external business partners identifying drains and drivers and providing optimal solutions on a weekly/monthly basis
- Partners with Category Advisory to quantify CCCI’s annual commercialization plan for all categories for each assigned retailer using syndicated data
- Provides strategic forward-thinking analysis for assigned National Retail Customers with Customer Core Teams to validate assumptions and make recommendations to CCT’s, KO Bottling system and CCCI Senior Leadership
- Interacts with retail customer and helps negotiate PPP that meets retailer and CCCI required financial targets
- Develop and present business reviews leveraging multiple data sources and company resources to tell business story
- Is proactive in business approach and identifies key critical business opportunities for Retailer and CCCI through analysis and makes recommendations to Senior Leadership
- Supports Customer Development Teams on Governance process by representing CCCI’s interest and providing analysis and making recommendations to Senior Leadership
- Partners with Customer Development teams to create retailer specific annual Price Package Plan for all categories
- Ensures that annual budget meets CCCI defined volume and financial goals
- Executes key marketing initiatives as defined by CCCI channel and package strategies
- Develops package & promotion recommendations against opportunities in collaboration with Customer Development and Category Advisory Teams
- Evaluates & interprets CCCI forecasts to identify gaps or opportunities against category plan; augments bottoms-up forecast with top-down perspective on a weekly/monthly basis
- Develop and validate ideas for closing category specific gaps to plan (price/promotion, innovation, acceleration initiatives)
- Partners with Trade Promotions Management team to ensure all contract funding activities are captured in annual and forecasted plan
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated progression responsibilities preferably with a Consumer Package Goods company
- Demonstrated experiences working under pressure and managing multiple projects at once with flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated team player who can work in a diverse, fast paced environment that thrives on challenging problems
- Experience in developing business plans; strategic thinking with forward-looking vision
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Category Management, syndicated data knowledge a plus
- Extremely strong analytical skills with ability to draw insights from data; ability to develop volumetric and financial models that can accommodate multiple inputs from diverse data sources for scenario planning and modeling
- Financial Planning and Budgeting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of key data systems; planning tools and forecasting systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
